Grange Men's 1st XI compete in the Euro Hockey Trophy in Cardiff over Easter at the start of April.

After securing European qualification after a brilliant win in the 2009 Scottish Cup (after wins over Inverleith and Kelburne)followed by a resounding drubbing of Western in the European play off match, it is vital that Grange 1's are well supported in this prestigious competition.

Further to previous events and fundraising it is now very important that as many club members support this forthcoming Race Night as possible.  Costs for Grange to participate in Europe are very high, indeed estimated costs for the trip, including flights, accommodation, and food, as well as coaching/logistical support currently amount to in excess of £10,000, the major proportion of which is likely to be paid by the players themselves.

To ensure that we can send our strongest squad without completely overburdening our players (in terms of costs) I would therefore request all members to try to strongly support the forthcoming Race Night;- hopefully on the night itself, or perhaps in advance (via purchase of raffle tickets, horses, jockeys, trainers, races, etc). 

In addition to the Race Night itself there will be a prize raffle draw taking place on the Night - the prizes include;-
